GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS
- Kindly check nails, hair and uniform daily and ensure the punctuality of your ward in the morning assembly.
- Please see that your ward carries (Text / Exercise) books according to the timetable for that day.
- The ALMANAC should be brought to the school daily.
- See his/her report card and teacher's remarks in his/her class work/homework, exercise books and school Almanac.
- Ensure that your ward takes balanced interest in studies and physical, cultural, social and literary activities.
- Encourage healthy eating habits; give a healthy breakfast and home cooked food in your ward's tiffin box. Regulate his/her sleeping hours. At least 8 hours sleep is essential for the healthy growth and development of a child.
- The students are not allowed to bring expensive articles or to wear jewellery in the school. In case of violation of this rule the articles will be confiscated. The school bears no responsibility for articles lost in the school. In case of a loss, a letter giving details of the lost items may be sent to the class teacher.
- If your ward is absent from the school, (he/she) most make-up for all the work that has been missed and also bring a leave application duly signed by the parents.
- If your ward is to leave the school campus during school hours, he/she must bring a written note from the parents explicitly stating the reason, get it signed by the class teacher and obtain a gate pass from the principal. Parents most make arrangements for their children to go home in case of an emergency.
- Parents should promptly inform the school if there is any change in their address or telephone numbers.
- Every precaution is taken to avoid accidents. However if an accident occurs in the school, first aid will be given. It may be done even before informing the parents/guardians. Ordinarily they will be sent to the hospital nearest to the school.
- Encourage your ward to speak in English at home. It will be good to provide him/her story books, newspapers, magazine in English etc.
- Expose your wards to all kind of safe, religiously allowed and socially acceptable experiences.
- Appreciate your ward for all his/her good doings and encourage him/her to shoulder responsibilities, in accordance with his/her physical and mental capabilities.
- Never compare your child with other children. Always have a good word to say about your child in the presence of friends, relatives and visitors.
- Whenever there are concerns or problems involving the teacher or classroom matters, an meeting should be scheduled promptly with the teacher by contacting the school office to establish a date and time. In the event the initial meeting does not produce satisfaction, a second meeting should be scheduled with the principal. If, in rare cases, the meeting with the principal does not bring a satisfactory conclusion to the matter, then it will be referred to the School Board, which will hear the matter and assist in bringing about a conclusion best for all concerned.

- To make them effective and confident communicators, displaying clarity of thought, and good listeners to different views defending their views diligently and logically.
- To enable them to have a sound understanding of moral character and to make them exhibit these qualities in their day to day life.

- To enable the students to accept, appreciate and adopt the new trends in all sphere of life. To prepare the students for the challenges that the future may pose.
- To enable the students to choose ideal in life and to work for achieving those ideals.
- To enable the students to understand their duties and rights and to enable them to appreciate and take pride in man s achievements and understand the interdependence of nations on each other to help ensure the smooth development of the human society as a whole 3.1 respects.
